- Displaying model specific progress information in a view:
- Accounts processed
- Algorithm steps completed
- Key performance indicators about the best solution found so far
- MIP progress information showing primal and dual bound
- Influencing the running model by setting controls such as timeouts or other solver controls.
- Interrupting processing gracefully when the user considers the results good enough, by enabling the user to send a message to the executing model by clicking a button. The model determines how much post-processing still needs to be done before exiting.
