Model.set_default_stream

Purpose
Set a default stream for this model.
Synopsis
procedure model.set_default_stream(wdm, file_name=None)
Arguments
wdm
Stream type ( StreamType value: OUTPUT, ERROR, INPUT)
file_name
Driver path for the stream. Use "null:" to silence, or "moselpy:name" to route to a Python object registered in Model.symbols. Pass None to restore the global default.
Example
Silence output, capture to buffer, redirect to file:
# Silence
model.set_default_stream(mp.StreamType.OUTPUT, "null:")

# Capture to a StringIO buffer
from io import StringIO
buf = StringIO()
model.symbols["out"] = buf
model.set_default_stream(mp.StreamType.OUTPUT, "moselpy:out")
model.run()
del model.symbols["out"]
print(buf.getvalue())

# Redirect to a file
model.set_default_stream(mp.StreamType.OUTPUT, "output.txt")
Further information
1. Must be called before Model.run to take effect. Overrides the global stream set via Config.set_default_stream for this model only.
2. Both OUTPUT and ERROR streams can be routed to the same Python object. Note that they flush independently and output may interleave.
