New Functionality and Changes Introduced with Decision Optimizer 9.6
This release requires Xpress 9.9.0 or later and Xpress Insight 5.17.1 or later.
New Features and Changes
This release delivers enhancements in Tree Aware Optimization:
- New step constraints extend the consistency constraints to enforce a configurable minimum ranking-step difference in the assigned treatments or, alternatively, to relax the constraint up to a configured difference.
- For tree templates, base tree variable names no longer need to exactly match project entities; they can now be mapped arbitrarily, providing greater flexibility.
- Multiple tree metrics are collected for every generated tree, including exploration scenarios, and are avilable in reporting.
Defect Remediation
This release resolves the following issues:
- Fixed an issue that caused a build failure when processing entities with an unspecified type.
- The width of table cells containing very long text is now limited.
- The internally generated AccountId entity is no longer listed as a candidate for processing rules.
