replacetext

Purpose
Replace a part of a text by another text.
Synopsis
procedure replacetext(t:text, r:text, i1:integer, i2:integer)
procedure replacetext(t:text, r:text, ta:textarea)
Arguments
t 
A text object
r 
The replacement text
i1 
Starting position of the region to replace
i2 
End position of the region to replace
ta 
A text area object
Example
The following: 
t:=text("abcdefgh")
replacetext(t,"-",3,7)
writeln(t)
produces this output: 
ab-h
Further information
1. This procedure is equivalent to calling deltext(t,i1,i2) followed by inserttext(t,r,i1).
2. Calling this procedure with an empty replacement r is the same as using deltext(t,i1,i2), and calling it with an empty region ( i.e. i2<i1) is equivalent to using inserttext(t,r,i1).
