XPRMsendevent

Purpose
Send an event to a running model.
Synopsis
int XPRMsendevent(const char *cfgfile, int cls, double value, int uid, int gid);
Arguments
cfgfile 
File name of a configuration file
cls 
Event class (in range 2..32765)
value 
Event value
uid 
User ID associated to the event
gid 
Group ID associated to the event
Return value
0 if successful, possible other return values are:
1 
Invalid class number
2 
Configuration file cannot be accessed
3 
Invalid configuration file
4 
Event could not be sent (typically the model was not listening)
Further information
The model must be running on the same host and it must have started a listener with a call to startlistener (from module mmjobs) that also creates the configuration file required by this function.
