SLPSTEPBOUNDING, XSLP_STEPBOUNDING

Description
Selects the step bounding strategy used by SLP
Type
Integer
Topic area
SLP
Values
-1
Automatic: fall back to bits 0 and 1 of SLPALGORITHM (default). By default bit 1 ( XPRS_SLPSTEPBOUNDSASREQUIRED) is set and bit 0 is not, which is equivalent to XPRS_SLPSTEPBOUNDING_ASREQUIRED.
0
XPRS_SLPSTEPBOUNDING_NEVER Do not apply step bounds.
1
XPRS_SLPSTEPBOUNDING_ALWAYS Always apply step bounds.
2
XPRS_SLPSTEPBOUNDING_ASREQUIRED Apply step bounds to SLP delta vectors only when required.
Default value
-1
Notes
This control replaces bits 0 and 1 of SLPALGORITHM ( XPRS_SLPNOSTEPBOUNDS and XPRS_SLPSTEPBOUNDSASREQUIRED), which are now deprecated. While SLPSTEPBOUNDING is left at its default of -1, those bits continue to determine the step bounding strategy exactly as before; setting SLPSTEPBOUNDING to any other value overrides them.
