Topic areas
Data Input, Nonlinear
Synopsis
problem.slpChgPresolveColVals(values, colind=None)
Arguments
values: Iterable[float]
Array holding the new solution values, corresponding to the columns identified by colind (or, if colind is None, to each column of the current (presolved) problem).
colind: Iterable[var]
Array holding the indices, in the current (presolved) problem, of the columns to be changed. May be None, in which case values must provide a value for every column in the current problem.
Further information
1. Unlike problem.slpChgColVals, the values passed to this function are assumed to match the current problem state and are written directly into the current (presolved) solution, with no presolve applied.
2. This function is only effective after starting a solve or when calling functions like problem.slpCascadeSol. For setting initial values to be set up before a solve, please use problem.nlpSetInitVal.
3. Argument colind may contain either xpress.var objects or integer indices.
