Licensing Xpress for Use in Workbench
- Configure the floating license following the Xpress Installation Guide. (Note: If you wish to keep a static license for local Xpress work and a separate floating license just to use the Workbench container, you may need two Xpress installations. The installation guide has details on this configuration.)
- In the xpress-license folder, rename xpauth.xpr.unused to xpauth.xpr. This is simple client license that looks for a server on “host.docker.internal”, the host OS running the license server. You may have to edit this file to supply a custom port if your license server is not using the default.
