Logging Out

To log out of Xpress Insight, follow these steps.
Click your user name in the blue banner at the top of the page and then select Log out from the menu.
There are several possible outcomes:
  • If you are logged in to a development environment using a local account, you are logged out of Xpress Insight and redirected to the Insight login page, where you can log in again or safely close the browser window.
  • If you are logged in using SSO, the result depends upon your Insight configuration:
    • If single sign-out is not enabled, you are logged out of Insight only, but you remain logged in to the IdP and any other applications.
    • If single sign-out is enabled, you are logged out Insight as well as your identity provider (IdP) and all applications that use the same IdP. Depending on your configuration, you might also see a Local log out option. Click Local log out to log out of Insight only and remain loggin in to your IdP. (If you are not sure about your Insight configuration, ask your adminstrator.)
