The Key Xpress Insight Pages

The Xpress Insight interface consists of several pages. You can navigate between pages using the links in the banner at the top of any page.
Caution: Always use the navigation links in the banner to navigate between Xpress Insight pages. Do not use your browser's "forward" and "back" buttons.

As you navigate, the URL for each page encodes the state of the app. Specifically, in an app, the URL specifies the current view, the scenarios that are on the shelf, and the fullscreen state. By copying and pasting the URL, you can bookmark a page for yourself or send a link to another user; this link will open the application and put it in the same state.

  • The Home Page
    The Xpress Insight Home page shows a list of the apps that are currently loaded, along with an Upload App option to upload a new app.
  • The App Page
    The App page presents the views and scenarios that exist for an app, and with it you can edit, execute, and analyze the app's optimization scenarios.
  • The Jobs page
    The Jobs page shows the jobs that have been submitted to the Insight server and their current execution status. Jobs are added to the queue when a user causes a scenario to be executed, or when a job is submitted to the Compute Interface.
  • The Admin Page
    On the Admin page, you can complete administrative tasks such as creating users, assigning roles to users, and creating execution services. You have access to this page only if you have administrator permissions.
