findexec

Purpose
Search for an executable file.
Synopsis
function findexec(tof:text):text
Argument
tof 
Program to find.
Return value
The full path to the program or an empty string if no executable could be found.
Example
 path:=findexec("moseldoc")
 writeln(path)           ! Output with standard Xpress installation: full path to
                         ! executable in 'bin' subdirectory of Xpress installation
Further information
This function enumerates all directories of the PATH environment variable to locate the specified program. On Windows it also tries to add extensions exe, bat and cmd to the provided name if no match exists with the initial name. On Posix systems it only tries to add the extension sh.
