getchar

Purpose
Get a character in a string or text.
Synopsis
function getchar(txt:text, index:integer):integer
function getchar(str:string, index:integer):integer
function getchar(txt:text):integer
Arguments
txt 
A text object
str 
String
index 
Position of the character
Return value
Character code, -1 if the index is not valid or 0 with the third form of the function when the text is empty.
Further information
The third form of the function will return the code of the first character of the string or 0 if the string is empty.
