If Xpress is running in a container and the container limits the number of cores then this limit is applied to the attribute value by default. This clipping can be disabled by setting
IGNORECONTAINERCPULIMIT to
1.
The optimizer will automatically use as many solver threads as the number of logical cores detected.
If the detection fails, the optimizer will default to using a single thread only.
