CUTSEPMIRSTRATEGY
|
Description
|
Strategy for separation of Mixed Integer Rounding (MIR) cuts. A more aggressive strategy will increase the effort spent in MIR cut separation and the frequency at which MIR cuts are separated during the branch-and-bound tree search. If a conservative strategy is selected (i.e., value 1,
XPRS_CUTSEPSTRATEGY_CONSERVATIVE), then MIR cuts will be separated only at the root node of the branch-and-bound tree.

Note
|
Setting the control to value -2 (
XPRS_CUTSEPSTRATEGY_AUTOENFORCED) behaves like automatic selection (value -1,
XPRS_CUTSEPSTRATEGY_AUTOMATIC), but, unlike -1, the value -2 is not overridden by the meta control
CUTSEPSTRATEGY. For instance, setting
CUTSEPSTRATEGY = 0 CUTSEPMIRSTRATEGY = -2will disable all other cut separators, but enforce an automatic separation strategy for MIR cuts. |
