POOLDUPLICATECHECK

Description
When extended branch-and-bound search for additional solutions has been enabled through POOLENUMSTRATEGY, this control determines which MIP column entities to consider when checking if two solutions should be considered duplicates. If two solutions are discovered with the same discrete values for the MIP column entities, only the solution with the better objective value is kept.
Type
Integer
Topic area
Values
1
Solutions that agree in MIP columns specified using XPRSloadbranchdirs are considered duplicates. If no directives are given, then behaves the same as option 2.
2
Solutions must agree in all MIP column entity values to be considered duplicates.
Default value
1
Notes
1. The comparison between solutions is performed against the user's provided problem. It does not include any MIP column entities introduced through problem transformations or presolve.
2. A MIP column entity is a binary, integer, semi-continuous, semi-integer or partial-integer variable. For a semi-continuous variable, the comparison check will only distinguish between whether the solution value is zero or above the semi-continuous lower bound.
