Backing up and Restoring the Master Key File
To ensure the credentials stored in the Xpress Insight configuration database are readable from a backed-up database, you need to back up the master key file.
This is a text file located in:
%XPRESSDIR%\insight\server\.xpress-insight-keyYou should copy this to your backup destination.
To restore it, before you start up your Xpress Insight server following a restore, you need to restore the master key file into the location specified above from your backup destination.
