Module Installation
The Insight Python Module is compatible with 3.7.x and above.
You might have multiple versions of Python. Python 2 and Python 3 are different programs, and Python 2.7.x installations can be run separately from the Python 3.7.x version on the same system. There are additional features in Python 3 which means it is not entirely backward compatible.
To check the version of Python you are running, open a Terminal or Command window and type:
python --version
To check the version of Python 3 software:
python3 --version

Note By default,
Python/pip commands points to the first binary found in
PATH environment variable. You may need to edit your environment variables to call Python 3 first.
