Installing FICO Xpress Insight

FICO^® Xpress Insight consists of two components; Xpress Insight Server, containing the database repository and web server, and Execution Worker which manages the services and mappings responsible for the execution of optimization tasks.

Each component ( Server and database, and Execution Worker) can be installed separately on different target machines, or both on the same machine. You can use this installer to add Execution Workers on separate machines to provide additional capacity.

Note If you are installing an Execution Worker on a different machine to the Insight Server and database, the core FICO® Xpress software must be installed on the machine before an Execution Worker is installed. You will require a license for each version of FICO® Xpress that will preform optimization; Execution Workers that run Mosel models which do not perform optimization do not require a licensed version of FICO® Xpress.

1. Select the folder where the application will be installed.
   
2. Click Next.
3. Select the components you wish to install (if you run the installer again, it uninstalls the previous installation).
