The Scenario Manager allows users to move scenarios within the app folder structure using the cut–and–paste method. Any scenario in the Scenario Manager, including those on the shelf, can be moved using this cut and paste method.
- From the HOME page, select the app that contains the scenario you wish to export. The APP page is displayed.
- Click the shelf to open the Scenario Manager.
- In the folder list (displayed in the left pane), select the folder containing the scenarios you wish to use.
- In the scenario list, select the scenario(s) you want to move.
- To select multiple sequential adjacent files, select the first file then hold the Shift key and click the final file.
- To select multiple non-sequential files, select the first file then hold the Ctrl key while clicking the other files. You can de-select a file by clicking it again.
- When you have completed your selection, click Cut.
The
Paste field updates to show the number of files in memory.
- Navigate to your destination folder and click Paste.
You cannot paste a scenario back into its source folder.
- A dialog displays how many files will be pasted. Click PROCEED.
If applicable, a progress bar will display. The scenarios are added to the selected folder.

Note Insight does not allow two scenarios to have the same name. If the paste operation would create an identically named scenario, the newest scenario name has a suffix number in brackets applied. Subsequent paste operations using the same scenario increase the suffixed value.

- A status window shows how many items were successfully processed, and shows if any errors were encountered. Click CLOSE.

Note You can cancel the cut operation at any time in one of two ways:
- Closing the Scenario Manager
- Making a new selection and cutting the file
Unpasted items are restored to their original location.
