Charts in views

Charts can be embedded within conventional views using the Chart component or the vdl-chart tag . Chart data can originate as static, scripted data, or it can be retrieved from model entities.
The range of supported chart types is:
  • Bar
  • Stacked Bar
  • Line
  • Scatter
  • Pie

    The simplest chart to create is a bar chart (the default chart type) using provided static data.

    All the other chart types can be created from variations of the above examples, noting that the respective vdl-chart-series elements will need a type attribute in anything other than a default bar chart, and that only one vdl-chart-series element is permitted for pie charts.
