Manipulating Decision Trees
This section describes how to manipulate decision trees using the decision tree editor, should your app support the relevant behaviors.
All Xpress Insight decision trees are of a type known as leveled trees. In a leveled tree, all nodes on a single level relate to the same variable.
All decision trees begin with a single start or root node and extend via branching at 'splits' through a set of intermediate nodes called condition nodes, finally terminating at leaf nodes. The leaf nodes at the end of each branch can be action nodes that are assigned treatments. A decision tree without any action nodes is known as a tree template.
Access the decision tree editor via the Attachments dialog or as invoked by your Xpress Insight app.
