Daniel McConaghy Vice President and Managing Director, FICO Asia Pacific
Chief Executive Officer
A 30-year veteran of the technology industry, William Lansing most recently served as CEO and president of InfoSpace, a position he held from February 2009 to November 2010. Previously, he served as CEO and president of ValueVision Media. Mr. Lansing also served as a partner of General Atlantic Partners, a global private equity investment firm. Prior to his work at General Atlantic, Mr. Lansing served as CEO of NBC Internet, an integrated Internet media company. He has also held several leadership positions in organizations including Fingerhut Companies, General Electric, Prodigy and McKinsey & Company. Mr. Lansing has served on the board of directors of FICO since February 2006, and he has served as a director of other public companies, including Digital River and RightNow Technologies. He holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and a J.D. from Georgetown University. Mr. Lansing resides in California with his wife and three children. In his off time he enjoys snowboarding, running, mountain biking, and traveling.
Executive Vice President, Sales, Services and Marketing
Mike Gordon serves as FICO’s executive vice president of sales, services, and marketing. Previously Mike was FICO's vice president and managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa while also leading the global banking practice. He also led the Emerging Industries and Technologies business unit; these included FICO’s insurance, retail, health care and pharmaceutical markets, as well as its Decision Management Tools group. Prior to joining FICO in 2005, Mr. Gordon spent more than 13 years in the financial services industry. As a vice president at Capgemini (formerly Ernst & Young Consulting LLP), his core competency was in providing strategic and operational solutions to banking and insurance providers, and he led the Insurance Center of Excellence and Solutions. Mr. Gordon has a BS in Industrial Engineering / Operations Research from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance and Business Economics from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Stuart C. Wells
Executive Vice President, Chief Product and Technology Officer
With more than 20 years of diverse management experience, Stuart Wells is a software industry veteran with a proven ability to catalyze and commercialize innovative technologies. At FICO, he is responsible for leading the global product and technology organization. Prior to his appointment as chief product and technology officer, he spent two years at FICO consulting on a range of projects, including leading cross-functional planning for the launch of enterprise solutions in the areas of fraud management, debt management and originations. Prior experience included senior leadership roles with Sun Microsystems, Avaya and other top technology businesses. Dr. Wells holds bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a certificate from the Stanford Executive Program.
Mark R. Scadina
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Mark Scadina joined FICO in 2007 as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Before joining FICO, Mr. Scadina was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Liberate Technologies, a leading provider of interactive services software founded by Oracle and Netscape. Prior to that, Mr. Scadina was vice president and general counsel of InterTrust Technologies, the pioneer in digital rights management solutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Scadina practiced law in the Silicon Valley office of Pennie & Edmonds. Mr. Scadina received his law degree from U.C. Berkeley School of Law and holds a BS degree in computer engineering from Santa Clara University.
Michael (Mike) J. Pung
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations
Mike Pung joined FICO in 2004 as vice president, Finance, and oversees the finance and investor relations functions for the company. He has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in both entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies, including Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., U.S. Satellite Broadcasting, and Deluxe Corporation. In addition, Mr. Pung served as an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche. He holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of North Dakota.
James M. Wehmann
Executive Vice-President, Scores
James M. Wehmann is executive vice-president responsible for the Scores business unit. Prior to working at FICO, Jim was senior vice president, global marketing at Digital River, a leading provider of cloud commerce solutions. During nearly nine years with the company, he was responsible for developing, marketing, selling and executing the company’s marketing services offerings. Prior to joining Digital River in 2003, Jim served as vice president of marketing at Brylane, Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing strategy and brand management for the company’s largest division. Before that he was responsible for new customer acquisitions as senior vice president of marketing for one of the country’s largest credit card issuers, Bank One. He also spent nearly eight years at Fingerhut Companies, Inc., where, as senior vice president, marketing, he developed and implemented segmented credit marketing strategies. Jim is a graduate with distinction of the Kellogg School of Management, where he earned a Master of Business Administration. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Richard S. Deal
Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer
Richard Deal leads FICO’s Human Resources function focused on attracting, engaging, developing and deploying talent through innovative human capital management strategies. He joined FICO in January, 2001 from Arcadia Financial Ltd., where he held the executive HR role for three years. Prior to that, he held a number of senior HR positions supporting the mortgage and corporate trust divisions of U.S. Bancorp in Minneapolis. Mr. Deal has extensive experience leading acquisition integration activities, building compensation and performance management systems and developing leadership competencies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Purdue University.
Dr. Andrew N. Jennings
Senior Vice President, Chief Analytics Officer
Andrew Jennings has held a number of leadership positions at FICO since joining the company in 1994, including VP of Global Account Management Solutions, and director of FICO’s European operations. Before joining FICO, Dr. Jennings served as head of unsecured credit risk for Abbey National plc, where he introduced account behavior scoring and mortgage scoring. He also served as a lecturer in economics and econometrics at the University of Nottingham. He has a BA and Ph.D. in economics, and an MSc in agricultural economics from the University of Wales.
Larry E. Rosenberger
Analytic Research Fellow
Larry Rosenberger was named FICO's first Research Fellow in 2007, following more than 33 years of service to the company. In this capacity, he continues to pursue research projects that advance FICO's analytic science. From 1999 to 2007, he led FICO’s Research Unit, focused on early stage innovation in such areas as decision analytics/Strategy Science and Consumer Capacity Index. From 1991 to 1999, he served as President and CEO. During that time, FICO experienced consecutive years of record growth, with annual revenues increasing from $31 million to over $276 million. Prior to that position, he managed the Engineering, Research, and Development Division. In that capacity, he was responsible for the technical development, production and marketing of the company's most advanced products. Mr. Rosenberger holds a B.S. in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in physics and operations research from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also chairman of the board of directors of the Marin Education Fund and board member of the Marin Community Foundation.
Vice President and Managing Director, FICO Asia Pacific
Daniel McConaghy joined FICO in April 2010 as head of the Asia Pacific region. He is responsible for leading the company’s growth in Asia Pacific, overseeing the region’s clients, employees and 12 offices. Mr. McConaghy has more than 17 years of experience building and managing technology businesses in Asia Pacific, including senior general management, sales, operations and finance roles with industry leaders Avaya, Lucent Technologies and Digital Equipment Corporation. Prior to joining FICO, Mr. McConaghy spent 10 years at Avaya as Regional Sales Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McConaghy holds an MBA from Babson College (Massachusetts, USA) and bachelor of arts in international economics from University of Connecticut (USA) and a Certificate of European Studies from the University of Tilburg, Holland.
