Start extending your scorable universe by millions of consumers

Lenders are now able to offer credit to millions of U.S. consumers who otherwise cannot be scored accurately due to insufficient or stale data in traditional credit bureau files. FICO® Score XD — developed in partnership with LexisNexis® Risk Solutions and Equifax® — is a credit score that leverages alternative data sources to give lenders a new opportunity to assess consumers who do not have an established credit history or whose credit files contain limited or outdated information. FICO Score XD is designed with precision and compliance in mind to enable lenders to safely extend credit to a largely unserved market of potential borrowers using an accessible and familiar FICO® Score.

About FICO® Score XD

FICO is an analytic industry leader in applying alternative data in credit risk scoring models to help expand credit access and improve inclusion for consumers who are unable to receive a FICO® Score using traditional credit bureau data alone. As part of our Financial Inclusion Initiative, FICO offers FICO® Score XD using alternative credit data — consumer information that resides outside of traditional credit files — to address 25 million credit-invisible consumers and another 28 million US consumers with insufficient credit reports. Realize rapid portfolio growth
Research shows that roughly one-third of applicants newly scorable with FICO® Score XD have a score of 620 or higher. Given the significant size of the credit-invisible US population, lenders can promote access to financial inclusion and economic opportunity, and grow loan offers with FICO® Score XD.
done
Help consumers access credit, opening the door to long-lasting customer relationships
With FICO® Score XD, you enable new customers to establish and build access to credit and improve their financial health, thereby opening the door to long-term borrower loyalty and future cross-selling opportunities that may have been missed if the credit-invisible segment was overlooked.
done
Improve score reliability and predictive power on “thin file” applicants
Some credit scores relax minimum scoring criteria to expand the universe of borrowers scorable with traditional credit bureau data alone by sacrificing predictive power to increase population coverage. FICO® Score XD instead augments credit bureau data with two additional complementary data sources to increase predictive power and offer a reliable scoring solution for this segment.
done
Streamline score integration
Improve operations and strategies with existing Equifax connectivity, leveraging the familiar FICO® Score scale of 300–850. Integrating FICO® Score and FICO® Score XD in your credit decisioning strategy can expand the scorable consumer universe and enhance your access to economic growth.
