Rules, SOA, banks and legacy modernization
...

Interesting little article about SOA and its role in helping banks move their legacy applications forward in ebizq. I have worked with some of the HP folks in their Open Bank group as it is really clear to me that business rules can be a core part of this. Not only can using business rules be very effective in legacy modernization and be a core way of ensuring decision consistency across an SOA. I also presented with HP on pushing decisioning to the point of contact using Blaze Advisor and Open Bank and have some notes about it here.
