FICO Number One on Forbes list of America’s Best Mid-Sized Employers
Earned “Great Place to Work” distinctions for FICO in India and Brazil

I am honored to share some good news. FICO was ranked Number One on the Forbes 2021 list of America’s Best Mid-Sized Employers. This comes on the heels of winning the “Great Place to Work” awards for both FICO India and FICO Brazil.
These distinctions reflect our strong foundation, focused on our people and rooted in our core values:
- Act Like an Owner of our company. That means making smart decisions about how we prioritize our time and resources with a focus on value.
- Delight Our Customers by delivering what we promise and creating consistently positive experiences for our customers.
- Earn the Respect of Others through our personal contributions and by demonstrating inclusive behavior that ensures our colleagues feel valued and welcome.
As you would expect, 2020 tested our foundation, but my colleagues at FICO met every challenge with resilience, humanity and grit. The adversity we faced only makes these awards even more appreciated.
We’ve tried to manage through the pandemic by keeping the health and safety of our employees, clients, partners and the communities where we live and work our top priority. FICO’s global employees have been working from home since March, we’ve stopped all travel, provided an Employee Assistance Program designed to help with stress, anxiety and other emotional concerns in situations like this and formed a COVID-specific internal comms tiger team to ensure proactive and transparent engagement with our staff.
The nature of our business, our deployment of flexible work tools including laptops, mobile phones and Zoom video capabilities and the high level of engagement demonstrated by our people allowed us to adopt a new way of working with minimal disruption.
Since we are all working from home, we do recognize the need to double down on personal connections and peer-to-peer engagement. We’ve hosted online concerts for our employees, added highly active discussion forums to our intranet where employees share tips on work/life balance, parenting in a pandemic, health and wellness and entertainment. Our team also organizes contests like the “FIC-o'-Lantern Halloween” Contest, “Attitude of Gratitude” Contest and “Taste the Holidays” Contest.
You can read the article published in Forbes where our Chief HR Officer Rich Deal shares more details on our commitment to and engagement with our employees.
I look forward to continuing to build an even stronger, more successful FICO and wish to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to my colleagues at FICO for making this a great place to work.
