FICO Browser Policy - General

As of 01.14.22

Pursuant to the standard Fair Isaac Software Support and Maintenance Policy (“Support Policy”), you must remain on a supported environment (including browsers, dependent applications and platforms) to receive maintenance services and technical support.  If FICO support and/or third party support for a dependent application (e.g., browser) is retired or discontinued, you will be required to upgrade to a current certified and supported dependent application to continue receiving maintenance services and technical support from FICO.   There may be an additional or different browser policy specific to a Fair Isaac software product.

In the specific case of the browser, the following three browsers are supported in accordance with the following browser vendor’s support policy:

Microsoft Internet Explorer policy update:

Given that Microsoft has deprecated Internet Explorer 11 (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/faq/internet-explorer-microsoft-edge), beginning in August 31, 2021, FICO will stop certifying Internet Explorer for new FICO product releases.  There are significant security, compatibility, and performance concerns with Internet Explorer 11 (see https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2021/05/19/the-future-of-internet-explorer-on-windows-10-is-in-microsoft-edge/) and FICO will require all customers to move to one of the following supported browsers:  Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and/or Microsoft Edge.
