FICO Labs Members Present Analytic Innovations at Leading Conference on Credit Scoring

MINNEAPOLIS—August 24, 2011—FICO (NYSE:FICO), the leading provider of analytics and decision management technology, today announced that members of its FICO Labs team will present four critical topics at the Credit Scoring and Credit Control XII conference, which starts today and runs through August 26 in Edinburgh. The conference is recognized as the leading worldwide conference on credit scoring and related topics.

At the biennial conference, FICO Labs members will present sessions on:

  • Using economic impact modeling to address “pro-cyclicality” in risk management, an important concept for Basel III regulations
  • Predicting the effects of coupons on consumer buying behavior
  • Predicting strategic defaults on US mortgage portfolios
  • Using causal modeling to improve credit decisions
